Lost document after getting removed from Account

Hello,

I was removed from my company’s account after being on a long PTO. I requested access again and was added back, but I now can’t see the documents I previously authored in my documents.

I have links to a couple of them and I am able to open them, but there are few more that I don’t have a link for and need to find them.

Is there a way to find documents that were authored by me before losing access. It would be great if they can be added back to My Documents.

Thanks!

Hi @Hani Nadra,

Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community and for flagging this!

What's likely happening is that when you were removed from the account, ownership of your documents got automatically transferred to another user or a designated document-owner account — that's why they're no longer showing under "My Documents" for you, even though you can still open the ones you have direct links to. Unfortunately there isn't a self-service way to pull documents back into "My Documents" once ownership has moved — that has to be done by whoever now owns them, or by your account admin. Please check with your account admin to see who the documents were transferred to (they should be able to see this or transfer ownership back to you). If you're not sure who that is or can't get admin help, let me know and I will connect you to our product support teams directly to look up the document transfer history and help identify/restore access to the missing files.

Let me know if you need additional help!
