Is there a way I can get the rest of the chart to auto-shift around whatever new shapes and lines I am adding? It is taking FOREVER to hand-drag every group of flowchart bubbles to make new space when I need to add a new option or tree of options.

+7Hi there Sahara thanks for reaching out! Mind maps in Lucidchart offer this type of functionality. You can learn more about mind mapping in this article in the Help Center. Keep in mind that mind maps are a paid feature for accounts on a basic level or above.
If you would like to see this feature in other types of diagrams would you mind adding your idea to our feature request form? Ideas submitted to this form are passed on to the product development team for their consideration. In the meantime you might be able to organize your diagram using the distribute horizontally/vertically feature as explained in this article. Hope this helps!
