I like Lucid's handling of lines & arrows.  But I happen to have a very long line intentionally by design. But with the only graphic element that indicates direction being at the end point most of the length of the line it frankly looks like a stray line or shape fragment.  How can I put "interim" arrow heads or tails at places along the line?

Hi John

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately there is not currently a functionality within Lucidchart designated for this purpose. Some potential workarounds for your use case could be to group other shapes to your line as "interim" arrowheads or to enable line jumps if your long line intersects other lines. This Help Center article describes how to enable line jumps.
