I have some JPGs of some floorplans that are large "to scale" but don't have the scale on them... Is there a way to import these JPEGs and trace them into lucid chart and adjust them to an actual scale? or is it just easier to re-draw the whole thing? I am not needing them for building purposes but for basic building schematics so I can add a variety of layers to the document including locations of access points phone drops HVAC units key/lock charts etc.
Hi Joshua,
Thanks for reaching out in the community. Refer to our Create floor plans to scale in Lucidchart article for the basics. You can import an image by selecting insert in the top tool bar > image > and select the floorplan image. You can then drag floor plan shapes on top of the image to trace your plan into Lucidchart. For a specific example of recreating an imported image in Lucidchart, check out this community post. I hope this helps!
