I drag and drop, I copy paste, I convert to CSV, have a simple flowchart svg from illustrator, it shows up on my lucid chart doc when i drag and drop and then disappears about a second later.

Hi @evanovich ,

Thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! Just to make sure that we are on the same page, please review our Shape Libraries in Lucidchart article from the Lucid Help Center, and let me know if you have any questions about SVGs in Lucidchart.

There are a couple of issues that we consistently come up against with SVGs. Do you mind reading through and seeing if any of these could be the cause of what you are experiencing?

  • Please try the SVG import in a Chrome Incognito browsing session. This often improves performance by clearing your cache and cookies and disabling your extensions.
  • Our SVG import can only upload a file size of 150 KB or smaller. If you are attempting to upload a larger SVG, I would recommend downloading a smaller copy of that image and it should upload successfully.

If the issue persists, please a screenshot of the issue you are seeing.

Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for your help and patience!

That worked! Thank you! Next question - it imported super small and so I click and shift-dragged it to a much larger size, but the text all stayed a 1pt in size. I’m a noob, how can I scale up the contents of the entire document including all text in one go?  Further, how can I select all just the text that exists within a lucidchart?

Hi @evanovich

Thanks for your response! To change the size of all the text within your document, you must first select every shape with text. You can do this by clicking and dragging on the canvas, or by using Ctrl + A (for a Windows/Linux) or Command + A (for a Mac). After you have selected every shape with text, you can adjust the text all at once by clicking on the text size in the upper tool bar.

Additionally, if you would like to set a default text size for your document, you can do so by making sure you have nothing selected on the canvas, and then selecting your desired text size. After you make this change, any new text will default to your chosen size.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
