Thanks for having this platform, so I can get help figuring out my issues…

After trying all basic troubleshooting help I still experience the same issue “my screenshot doesn’t paste on my document” I have done this before alot now on my new laptop it doesn’t work!

I keep on getting this:

Are you trying to copy and paste a screen shot from an app such as Snagit, or Monosnap or just the standard print screen functionality? Were you able to paste the same screen shot to a word document or any other application successfully? Usually copy and paste (Ctrl + V) from a screen shot is not an issue, I just tried it on my side and I don’t have any issue. Another last method to try, is to save the screen shot to a jpg or .png and then try to insert that image into Lucid.

 

Or are you trying to upload an image (a jpg, png etc)? If yes, what is the file type and what is the size of your file?

 

If you can clarify your issue and provide us with a step-by-step info, that will be helpful.

is your new laptop a work laptop. might be a security plugin halting an upload. ?

Did you try diferent browsers and or imcognito mode…?


Hi ​@Leiby, thank you for your post and sorry to hear you’re having trouble uploading images! If the steps our Lucid Legends shared above don’t help resolve the issue, problems with uploading could be related to the size of your image.

This can be either the file size OR pixel dimensions. We have a limit of 4000 pixels - could you please check if your image is above this limit? If so, can you please try resizing it and uploading it again?

Please let me know if you see any improvements, or if you continue to experience issues with inserting the image!
