I signed up for LucidChart using my college email. I checked my spam inbox and got an email from Chase Short (cshort@lucidchart.com) asking me to arrange a meeting so he could talk about how Lucid is partnering with my college and give me tips on how I can get the most out of it. The email was sent on August 20 and there have been 3 follow-up emails asking if I got the email and if I’m interested in meeting. My school’s anti-filter gateway marked it as definitely spam, which is why I didn’t bother looking at it in the first place.

I don’t know if this guy is affiliated with LucidChart, so I wanted to ensure this is a legitimate email. I’ve never experienced this before and I’m very surprised and uncertain. Also I don’t feel comfortable with an actual meeting if this is legitimate. I would rather answer questions in a google form or something.

Good morning,

I sent this community post to Chase directly internally. He does work for Lucid Software. Thanks for checking!
