Spell check only works by selecting and individual shape. There needs to be a way to check a diagram all at once.

Spell check defaults to only running while you’re editing a shape, but you can change your setting to spell check the entire diagram at once.
It’s hard to know about every setting, so another great tip is to use the binocular icon to search for features and their associated settings.
