Did you recently come back to Lucidchart and find an incredibly frustrating and poorly documented “auto-arrange” feature clogging up your workflow by auto-snapping objects in certain containers? The setting your are probably looking for is to remove the assisted layout.
- Close all the pop-up windows the Lucidchart wants to show you, in my case this panel was completely obstructed by a helpful hint popup on top and a document setting popup on the bottom
- Double-click on your swimlane and a panel should open up on the right (and close any other new popups that may have popped up)
- Under assisted layout, click disable.
