Hi Frank

Thank you for keeping this conversation going and apologies for any confusion! You have a couple of options when it comes to deleting a lane. Once you select the chart right click and select "Remove Lane" or you can navigate to the right contextual panel (which should open upon clicking the swimlane) and change the amount of lanes you would like.

Hope this helps! Check out our Swimlanes Lucid Help Desk article for a bit more help with this. Cheers!

Hi Caren

Thanks for reaching out on the Lucid community. You can delete a swimlane by right-clicking it and selecting "Delete" or by selecting it and hitting your Delete or Backspace key. If you would like to increase or decrease the number of lanes in a swimlane you can do so with the up or down arrows circled below. Hope this helps!

Lucidchart is super intuitive! However I also found deleting a swim lane to be quite the opposite. Simple right click in the area where you'd write the title of the swim lane and select 'delete'

Really bad! wasted 15m on this. If I have to search to do a simple function it's not the best solution!

As you can see, I KEEP clicking remove lane, yet for some reason it does not go away. This is for every single one of my projects. It is very frustrating and quite honestly hilarious how a program so intuitive like lucid struggles with something I would imagine to be so easy. (simple backspace functionality)

Hi @rahuls

Thanks for your reply! Could you try opening your document in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause? Could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)? Sometimes account performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post (in English).

If those don’t resolve the problem, can you please send a temporary Support PIN for this document? This will allow me to take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing. For more information on generating a Support PIN, check out this Help Center article.
