How do I remove the assignee from Lucid cards and restore my documents?
Holy smokes! Recent update in the last 24 hours has destroyed many of my beautiful documents - problem is the update forces the display of assigned user.
The assigned user increases the height of the lucid card and when I refreshed browser to pickup the change it blew up my dynamic tables and all the line paths.
Not all Lucid cards need an assignee - we appreciate and use Lucid cards for the data structure.
Please make it optional to display or not display the assignee on the card.
Hoping for a quick UNDO or a FIX.
Thanks!

Hi @Rickajr, thank you for posting in the community and sharing this feedback. I am checking internally for some additional insight into this change and will update this thread as soon as we have more information.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions in the meantime!
@Leianne C -- It looks like a bug to me - not only does a blank “assignee” show. But a new Lucid card also shows the Status and forces a “New” even when the dynamic table has custom column set.
1. If “assignee” is = “select”, then do not show the “assignee” icon on the card
2. If dynamic table is set for custom column, then “status” should have the availability for “select” (essentially no selection)
3. If “status” is = “select”, then do not show the status icon on the card
It would be great if they just backed out the update and did a rethink.
Also lost the ability to change a card to a shape per the help menu instructions…
Hi @Rickajr, we're really sorry you've been hit by this issue!
We're working fast to fix the forced display of the "assigned user" field on Lucid Cards and the layout problems it's causing.
In the meantime, we want to show you how you can get your affected boards fixed. You'll need to use a beta feature we just rolled out. This new feature lets you customize the fields right on your Lucid Cards.
To remove the assignee field and tweak other fields on your cards, follow these steps:
Select a Lucid Card
Click the pencil icon (You'll see it when you select a card)
Select "Settings" in the top-right corner of the menu that pops up
Under “Lucid fields” or your integration (airfocus, Jira, and Azure DevOps) fields, you can reorder fields
Add or remove fields from a card’s face (this is where you can kick the assignee off the card face)
For Lucidspark cards, drag and drop fields into and out of the “hide from card face” section
For other cards, you can select "Edit fields" and simply check or uncheck which fields you want to show or hide on the card
We really appreciate your patience and feedback as we work to make Lucidspark even better. We hope to have a fix out soon!
@Brynn T - thanks for the working solution using the drag and drop hide from card face feature! That let me do exactly what was needed and while the edit fields wasn’t available yet, I like the direction that’s going in the future.
