I have added the table shapes to my LucidChart. I can insert the default 3x3 table and can add text to that table. However, I cannot get the advanced table menu to appear to allow for adding a column or row, etc.

Right clicking on the table only exposes the general context menu. What am I missing?

@Dsarnowski ,

Thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! To open the menu for adding rows and columns to your table, click on your table, then click on the “Contextual panel” icon in the top-right corner. This will open a panel on the right-hand side of the canvas to add rows and columns.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

Hi - I can’t get the contextual panel to appear when my table is selected. I am trying to find an option to distribute rows and columns evenly in my table, which I thought would be in the contextual panel options but I don’t see that icon anywhere in my Lucid spark board when I click on my table. Thanks!

Hi @MadisonWagner, thank you for adding to this thread. To clarify, are you using Lucidchart or Lucidspark? I would recommend ensuring that you switch into Lucidchart to make sure you can see the contextual panel.

To do so, you can go to the top left of your canvas > select the Lucidspark icon > in the drop down, select Edit in Lucidchart

Does this resolve the problem for you? Please let me know if you are still having trouble with this or if you have any further questions.
