Using lucid.app and an Apple Magic mouse

  • swiping up/down on the mouse sometimes scrolls the page, my preferred behavior
  • sometimes the up/down gesture zooms the page in and out.
  • and then scroll is reenabled. there’s no rhyme, reason, predicability for this behavior.

How do I disable this lucid.app setting? "Scroll with mousewheel to zoom" is crazymaking

Hi @Peter Nies, thanks for posting in the Lucid Community!

Sorry to hear you were having some trouble with navigating your board. I’m happy to hear that switching your navigation mode in board settings to Trackpad has solved this for you.

I do always recommend switching navigation mode depending on your preference. Here’s a bit more information on that from the Help Center article Navigate the Board and Canvas View Controls:

  • Using the Trackpad, swipe with two fingers to pan, and pinch to zoom in and out.
  • Using a Mouse, right-click and drag to pan. Scroll or use the mousewheel to zoom in and out.
  • If you select Auto, Lucidspark will automatically detect whether you are using a trackpad or a mouse.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Choosing Trackpad, instead of Auto or Mouse in View / Navigation mode / … seems to solve the problem. 🤓 Auto must have been erratically jumping back and forth between Trackpad and Mouse settings.
