When developing a process flow, we often start with Sticky notes as we brainstorm or receive details of what a flow should be. It’s a fast way to get shapes and ideas on to a board. To finalize the process flow, we then convert it to the correct shapes with connectors. It would be very helpful if a Sticky Note could be changed to a shape.

Hi there!

I saw your post and wanted to make you aware of the possibility to transform a sticky note into a shape 😃

When you select the sticky notes, you can use the ‘change object’ feature to turn it into a different shape. See the image attached for reference.

Hope that helps!

Hi @LucidUser1975, thank you for posting in the Lucid Community!

Just jumping in here to let you know that I’ve converted this from an idea to a question in our product questions category of the community just so that this is available to other customers.

Please let us know if you have any further questions about this feature, we’re happy to help!

You can’t change sticky note shape in Lucid Charts though, right? I don’t see the option.

Hi Cindy,

That’s right, you won’t be able to do this in Lucidchart. You can easily achieve the same result though by quickly switching to Lucidspark and doing the conversion. To switch between Lucidchart & Lucidspark, you can use the logo in the top left corner like indicated on the attached screenshot.

Hope that helps!
