Hey,

in case the title isn’t clear, the idea is that i have a specific flowchart on a page, i click on a process to view more details about it, and usually id create a new page with the details of that process.

Instead, what i want to do is upon clicking on that process (shape), it leads me to the details of the process in the same page but its located far away.

Hope that makes sense!

Hello @AzizJassim,

Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community!

I have good news for you, this is something you can do in either Lucidchart or Lucidspark. Here is a post that walks through this process for Lucidspark and provides steps along with a quick video and screenshots: Linking from one element to another in a spark board | Community.

You can do the same thing in Lucidchart if that is where your flowchart is captured. You copy the shareable link from the target object by right-clicking it and choosing Copy Link to Selection. Then, go to the object that you want to use as your launching object (or “button”, so to speak) and:

  1. Click link-to-web-page-or-document-icon-in-lucidchart.pngthe link icon in the Formatting bar.
  2. Select URL.
  3. Enter the URL to the target object (the shareable link).
  4. Click Apply.

Also see the Learning Campus Help Center article on Add an Action or link to a shape in Lucidchart – Lucid. The trick is to use the shareable link from the target object as the URL to jump to.
