How do I access an excel template for Lucid org charts?

I have been searching Lucid and google and Excel articles for a org chart Excel file I can build for my department hat includes all of the data fields that will upload to Lucidchart. Can someone share that template with me? Thanks!

Hi ​@mack8882, thank you for posting in the community! As ​@aparrish mentioned, Lucid supports multiple options for importing files for Org Charts. I recommend checking this section of our Org Charts article for an example CSV file. 

Before importing data, it is essential your table meets these three requirements:

  • Every column of the table has a header.
  • Every employee has a supervisor indicated either by name or an employee ID.
  • Every supervisor is listed as an employee. Even the CEO needs to be listed as an employee with a blank corresponding supervisor cell.

@mack8882 there are multiple options for exporting files. You can also import from an Excel file as well. Here’s the Org Charts Help Center Article. If something you’re trying to reach is outside of your current plan, here’s information on Lucidchart Plans.
