Hi! In Lucid Chart, I have trouble renaming the duplicated page. After renaming and clicking refresh, it reverts to the “Copy of...” name.

I tried doing it on different days but still got the same error. Can we not rename duplicated pages or does this need fixing?

Thank you!

Hi @tekdokrighter

This isn’t expected behavior—you should absolutely be able to rename duplicated pages in Lucidchart. What you’re experiencing sounds like a sync or save issue rather than a feature limitation.

Here are a few solutions you can try:

  • Rename and press Enter, then click elsewhere
    • Ensure the change is committed before refreshing
  • Wait a few seconds before refreshing
    • Lucid autosaves, but a quick refresh can interrupt it
  • Check for multiple open tabs
    • Close duplicates of the same document to avoid conflicts
  • Hard refresh / clear cache
    • Or try in an incognito window
  • Test in another browser
    • Helps rule out browser-specific issues

Please let me know if any of these are helpful.
