Is that an option that I’m not seeing? Trying to increase security.

Hi @teaxyz

Hope you're doing well

Over here you can find a detailed explanation of user sign in options already built in Lucid.

Maybe, depending on your needs and plan, you can choose the best sign in option that fits your needs (e.g. e-mail confirmation, SAML, specific SSO ...)

To elaborate further, the document mentions the following:

Note: Lucid users can set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) via SSO login with Google or Microsoft. Enterprise accounts can set up multi-factor authentication via an Identity Management Provider (IDP).

And even, in case you need a more how to approach, Lucid's Support Team already addressed similar issues on this, here

Cheers 👊

Can we only activate two-factor authentication with the corporate plan? Or can we also activate two-factor authentication with the individual plan?

Hi @Viridiana, thank you for continuing this thread! For single-user and Team accounts, Lucid supports multi-factor authentication through SSO logins, including Google and O365. We do not provide MFA for email/password sign on. To set up one of these SSO options, simply choose that sign-in option here and authenticate using that SSO method.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you very much, one last question, do you know how long it takes for something we decide to permanently delete to be completely eliminated?

Hi @Viridiana, I’m happy to help! Once a file is deleted from the Trash folder, it will be immediately unavailable to owners and collaborators and will become permanently irretrievable in accordance with Lucid's data retention guidelines. To learn more, check out our Privacy and security article. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Leianne,

I am an individual user and I am also trying to set up MFA.

I can’t find the Admin panel.

I currently log in using an email/passord. I wouldn’t mind switching to a Google login, but I can’t find where to do that. I’d appreciate some guidance.

Thanks,

Ohad

Hi @ohadg, thank you for continuing this post! The Admin Panel is only available to multi-user accounts with a Team or Enterprise subscription. For individual and Team accounts, Lucid supports multi-factor authentication through SSO logins, including Google and O365.

If you’d like to switch to Google login, you will need to fist log out of your account. You can do so by clicking your user icon in the top right corner of your documents page, then select ‘Log Out’.

In the log out screen, you will be prompted to log into your account again. From there, select ‘Log in with Google’ or any other available SSO method t switch to that login method:

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have trouble with switching login methods or if you have any questions. Cheers!
