Hi Roxanne thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! While Lucidchart doesn't have a formal tutorial for genograms I recommend searching the template gallery in your account (+ > Lucidchart > Create from Template) for the "Kinship Diagram" template which should have the symbols you need.
