I am on a free trial and I am unable to access the Align feature to flip an object.  Am I doing something wrong or is that feature unavailable for the free trial?

Hi @freeliner, thank you for continuing this thread! Unfortunately, it’s not possible to flip doors left/right but it is possible to change the direction a door shape opens.

This following community post has more details about the door shape in Lucid:

I hope this helps! Please feel free to let us know if you have any further questions about this.

Hi Laurie

Thank you for posting. If you select the shape and then select the Shape Options the panel will appear. You can then choose how you'd like to flip the shape. This is not a paid feature, so being on a trial should not impact it.

I have tried tried that but the Flip and Rotation options are greyed out.

The object is a pre-made door under the Floorplan group.  Does that make a difference?

Hi Laurie

Thanks for the clarification. The door object must be attached to or part of a wall for the flip action to appear. When you select the door image a light gray square will appear. You can then flip the door swing by pulling the gray square to the desired side.

You can do it with the current doors. It’s not clear that you can. These are the steps i take:

  1. Add door to the wall
  2. Move the center gray point to the opposite side of the wall
  3. Move the entire door (not the gray point) to the right side of the wall

This flips the direction of where the door opens
