My team and I are looking for some help in getting our Visio designs imported into Lucid more seamlessly. Right now it seems like every time we import, certain shapes are missing descriptions, connections are messed up, line spacing is off, little things like that.

I also want to know if there is a way to if not correct the whole thing on import, at least a way to automate some of the line spacing, and certain settings to save some time and be able to convert more designs.

Would love to hear any help, thank you!

Hi @L.K, thank you for posting in the community. Just to make sure that we are on the same page, please review our Troubleshooting: Import diagrams into Lucidchart article from the Lucid Help Center, and let me know if you have any questions about the set up or intended functionality.

Can you verify that the file is able to be opened correctly in Visio? If a file is the wrong file type, or has some other issue that makes it an invalid file, we will not be able to import it. If you are able to open the file in Visio, please try re-saving it to both VSDX and VSD file formats, then importing those files to Lucidchart. Switching the file type can sometimes correct issues in the file itself.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if the issue persists after trying this, or if you have any additional questions!
