Filter and Highlight Data-Linked Shapes

Hi all,

 

I use Lucid chart as a mapping system. I was wondering if theres a functionality to filtering the imported data linked file while on Lucid chart. mainly i have a column that categories types and i want to filter and highlight all of a certain type to be also highlighted on the lucid chart when selected. is this possible? thank you all!

You can link the Category field from your imported dataset to the corresponding shapes and use conditional formatting to highlight shapes whose category matches a specified value. For example, you can create a rule such as Category = Type A to change the fill color of matching shapes.

Lucidchart does not appear to offer a native interactive canvas filter that allows viewers to select a category value and automatically filter or highlight only the matching data-linked shapes. If you need multiple category views, you could consider using conditional-formatting rules, layers, or separate views for each category.
