I’m trying to add some images on a lucid board and it’s not allowing me to add anymore images. Is there a cap on images?

Hi @tuan.nguyen1

If you are encountering an issue with images in Lucid, following the steps included in this article often resolves the issue:

Troubleshooting: Images – Lucid

Here are some key pointers:

There are certain limitations on image uploads to ensure optimal performance:

  1. Lucid has the following upload limits:
  1. Image files (JPG, PNG, etc.): 10 MB
  2. GIFs: 5 MB
  3. PSDs files: 30 MB
  4. PDFs: 10 MB
  1. Your account has a total storage limit, which varies based on your subscription plan. Images consume significant storage space, and reaching this limit can prevent further uploads.

Hope this helps!

Regards

Ria

Hi @tuan.nguyen1, thank you for posting in the Lucid Community and thank you @Ria S for those pointers! It may be helpful to review the Troubleshooting: Images article as Ria mentioned as a good starting point.

Can you clarify if you are encountering this problem within a Lucidchart or Lucidspark document? Are you having trouble with just one document, or multiple? It would also be helpful to know if you are receiving an error message or a pop-up. If you encounter an error or pop-up when trying to upload an image, can you please provide a screenshot?

  • Could you try opening your document in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause?
  • Could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)? Sometimes account performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post.
  • Can you please provide a screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue? You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac).

Thanks in advance for your help and patience!
