Export not working for diagrams including conditional formatting and Umlaut

Question

When trying to export a diagram with an Umlaut (ä, ö, ü, etc. in my case capital ‘Ö’), in the chartname I always got the message ‘Due to the size of this document, it may take some time to generate your file. Please keep this document open until your download is complete’. After waiting some time in front of the open document, a message pops up ‘An error occurred. Failed to download’.
Removing the Umlaut from the chartname fixes the issue.
It took me about an hour to find the error, a more concise error message would be nice.

Hi ​@Pete at ComServ, thanks for your post and thank you ​@aparrishfor chiming in!Since removing the conditional formatting allowed the export to work, it is possible that some of the data in the document had become corrupted.Could you please let us know whether removing and reapplying the conditional formatting prevents the issue from recurring?We appreciate your help and patience!
