When I try to publish a document that has been approved, I get the error messages “we couldn’t publish your draft due to an error” and “something went wrong, please refresh the page”. Has anyone come across a similar message? I’ve tried refreshing the page and publishing in a different browser, but I get the same issue

Hi @Nina H, thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! To make sure I understand the issue fully and can point you in the right direction, would you mind providing a brief description of what you are trying to accomplish and a screenshot of the issue with the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue (Ctrl+Shift+J if using Windows/Linux OR Cmd+Opt+J if using Mac)?

Thank you!

@Nina H thanks for providing these screenshots! It appears the issue may be due to the document’s metadata. Would you mind trying the following troubleshooting steps?

  1. Duplicate the document, and then publish the duplicate.
  2. Clear local storage/cache with a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5 or Cmd + Shift + R).
  3. If there are any pending or empty comments in the document, resolve or delete them before attempting to publish again.
