ERD diagrams arrange hierarchical removes field level relationships
I have imported database objects and have manually created relationships between tables where we dont retain PK/FK constraints in the DB since it is a warehouse that is loaded frequently. the relationships are based on our knowledge of the data. I connected all lines to fields in tables with the end of the line (connector) turning red If I move around the table it retains the relationship at the filed level but if I select the Arrange menu and arrange hierarchically then it breaks the field level relationships. I have tables with mutliple FKs so lines running to a table do me no good. I need to be able to retain the field level relationships while using arrange. Please help!
