Can i embed a lucid chart on my website?

Hi Suleiry

Thanks for reaching out in the Lucidchart Community! Yes you can embed a Lucidchart document in a web page. Please follow these steps:

  • From your Lucidchart diagram select the File menu at the top of your editor.

  • From the dropdown select Embed.

  • From the dropdown in the pop-up window select the size of your embed frame or create a custom size.

  • Click Activate Embed Code.

  • Copy the HTML snippet and paste it into the code of your web page

  • This code can be used with a normal HTML img src tag.

For more information about embedding Lucid documents please review our Publish or embed a Lucid document article from the Lucid Help Center. .

I want to show grid and specify zoom of the iframe - can I pass params in the uri to do this?

Hi @devr24, thanks for your post! Unfortunately, this isn’t currently supported in Lucid, but we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. Please first search the Product Feedback section of this community (with the filter Topic Type = Idea) to see if it’s already been submitted. If so, please add any additional details you’d like and upvote the request - this consolidation helps to refine feedback and properly capture the popularity of the request.

If no one has submitted this idea yet, please create one of your own and be sure to include details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience. This will also allow other users with similar requests to discover and upvote it, then add details of their own.

Finally, for more information on how Lucid manages feedback via this community, take a look at this post:

We appreciate your willingness to provide your requests and feedback in the Lucid Community!

Hi any news on this? I want to show an LC document with layers, actions and links in my website (that works fine), but without the controls at the top and bottom of the iFrame.

Regards, Christian

Hi @Christian T. Schade, thank you for continuing this thread. Unfortunately it is not possible to remove/disable the controls in the border of an embedded iFrame. Some users have created idea posts about the embed function in Lucid.

We encourage you please add any additional details you’d like and upvote the request - this consolidation helps to refine feedback and properly capture the popularity of the request.

Thank you for sharing feedback in the community and please let us know if you have any questions!
