Hi All,

I am using dynamic table to show a roadmap (Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 in columns). I want to add an arrow in the row that goes across all three years. How do I do that? Because the moment I insert an arrow, the column for e.g., year 1, automatically adjusts itself and the arrow remains within that column - it needs to visually look as if it goes across all the years :(

Please help. Thanks for the support.

Hi @Sneh, thank you for your post! To confirm, are you trying to add the line/arrow like the example below? If so, you should be able to add it to the timeline then adjust the length of it by dragging one end of it.

If that is not the case, would you mind sharing an example screenshot or diagram of how you are trying to add the arrow?  This will help us better understand your use case and determine the best method to achieve what you’re looking for. Thanks!

Hi Leianne,

Thank you for your response. Please see below image, I am trying to make this arrow shape go across all columns, but the dynamic table isn’t allowing me to do so.

Thank you :)

Hi @Sneh , thank you for sharing that screenshot! It looks like you might be using a different feature  and we’ll need more than a screenshot to better understand - my apologies!

Would you mind sharing the temporary Support PIN for this document? This will allow me to take a closer look at the issue you’re experiencing.

For more information on generating a Support PIN, check out this Help Center article. This Support PIN doesn’t allow anyone but Lucid Support to take a look at your document, so you are safe to post it here.

Let me know if you have any questions, thank you!

Hi Leianne,

Here is the support PIN duBOo9B3QFPUoB207047983. Please let me know if this doesn’t work. I have created a new document and mocked up an example along with my questions. Thanks for your support.

Hi @Sneh thank you for following up with that information!

It seems like the arrow you are using is an actual shape from our shape library, hence why it is not placed across columns and lines on your dynamic table. To reproduce my colleague’s behaviour, I recommend using an actual line from our panel, which you can edit according to your preferences, as such:

It is unfortunately not supported by Lucid to add an additional header line nor years in a timeline, as referred to in the document you have shared. Please make sure to upvote and comment the idea created below to voice your support as the most popular ideas are surfaced to the product development team for its review.

We are continuously looking for ways to improve our products and your input is the most effective way to achieve that goal. Let me know if you have any more questions!
