Okay I have to be doing something wrong but I can't figure what (obviously): I'm trying to drag a line down the swimlanes. I select the line and try using the arrow keys but they don't do anything.
I try dragging but that always leaves at least one endpoint locked in place and just pulls part of the line out of shape. I can drag each endpoint individually to get the effect I want but that can't be the normal behavior.

I'm sorry you're having troubles with using lines on your document. I would recommend as a first step that you read through our Work with Lines help article to make sure that we're on the same page.
