One of the Lucid users I work with has had the owner of a LucidChart they’re working on changed to “S-LUCIDREPOSITORY-P”. How do we get him back ownership of his document?

Hi @ARiehl

Sounds the file has been transferred to Lucid's repository due to an inactive or deactivated account.

This can occur when the original owner's account is deactivated, suspended, or removed from the organization, or if the document becomes orphaned due to permission or ownership changes. To restore ownership, it's best to have an admin to look into it.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards

Hi @ARiehl, and thanks for the initial response, @Humas1985.

I wanted to clarify that I believe S-LUCIDREPOSITORY-P is simply the “name” of the Lucid account that your organization uses as a repository for documents in the event the the original owner is no longer part of the Lucid account, such as in the scenarios Huma described.

In order to restore ownership to this user, I would recommend that you (or an admin on your accounts) use the Doc Discovery feature to transfer it back. Please give this a try and let me know if you have further questions!

Thanks all - the user’s account was indeed temporarily deactivated due to a password issue, resulting in the stated behavior. They have now filed a ticket with company admin to resolve.

@ARiehl I’m glad to hear that! Please don’t hesitate to let us now what else we can do to support you.
