I'm new to Lucidchart and thus far enjoying it. However I have one issue:
I've tried a whole bunch of settings but cannot seem to get this to just make distances the same. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for posting in the community and sorry for the trouble. Have you already tried turning off/on "snap to grid" (see screenshot for reference)? This feature is sometimes responsible for issues like this. If that doesn't help please reach out via support@lucidchart.com and include the URL to the document you are working on so we can take a closer look!
