Create a table of contents in Lucidspark using the paths feature

Is there a way to make the Table of Contents visible when users come into the Spark for the first time?

I see, thank you for clarifying! I would recommend using our Paths feature in Lucidspark. You can put your table of contents in a frame, create a path, and then share the link to that path. This will allow users to see the table of contents first, and if you’d like, you can add more frames to continue to guide new users to the board.

You can find the table of contents (TOC) feature in the bottom right-hand corner of the document page in Lucidspark (Please see the screenshot below).

After setting up the Table of Contents (TOC), you can try saving the board with the TOC Open or expanded. Lucidspark saves the state of the board (including whether the TOC is open or closed) as it appears when the board is saved.

Share the link to the Lucidspark board with the Users. When users open the board for the first time, they will see it in the state it was saved, including the TOC being visible.

If you want users to be guided explicitly, you can consider the following:

Add an introductory frame or sticky note on the board with instructions for using the TOC.
Mention the TOC and how to navigate it in the email or message sharing the board link.

This ensures that users immediately understand how to use the TOC effectively upon their first interaction with the board.

I am using the web version, and I believe that’s just auto-saving.
I have my TOC set up already just want it to display on default-open when new folks come in.

Is there another way of doing this for web version?

This is still unclear to me.
Not sure how to put the TOC inside a frame, and it also seems redundant to creating a path with all of the frames.

Thank you for the reply! I apologize, my explanation didn’t clarifying that the Table Of Contents creates a frame that you can add to path and then link to. So you don’t need to create an additional frame. Does this help?
