How do I move Lucidchart/spark “documents” from a free account to my work account? I collaborated with someone outside my company to develop a chart and then obtained licenses through my company. I would like to copy charts developed in the free account into my licensed account. Thanks

Hi ​@Wbhopper, thanks for posting your question in the Lucid Community! I would recommend checking out the Transfer Lucid documents article from the help center.

I recommend the following steps:

  1. From your free account, share the documents that you want transferred with your new work account
  2. From the email associated with your new work account, accept all the share invites to the documents
  3. From your free account, follow the steps to transfer individual documents and make your new work account the new owner of each document

Thank you for the recommendation. I tried starting with recommended Step 1 before posting the question. Could an issue be that both the free account and new licensed account use the same email? When I tried to share the file in the free account, I did not receive a share link. Also, if the file is on someone else’s licensed account, do they need to transfer the ownership? I was hoping there was a “save as” process that would allow me to at least copy the file over to my licensed account. Does that option exist? And just noticed another potential issue when reviewing the help page. I see that transferring Lucid documents may not be possible with a FedRAMP account, which is what I have. Additional thoughts? Thanks
