Hi - very often I need to connect lines to lines for example in defining a varied asymmetrical boundary around objects (a shape won't do). So I need to connect one line to the next in sequence. How is this done? Thanks.
Hi Sarah
Thank you for reaching out. To connect lines to lines you will follow these steps.
1. Create the initial line
2. Create another line
3. Connect the bottom part of the new line to the original line
The lines should now be connected. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to answer your question!
I noticed that it is not possible to connect one vertical line to the bottom of a horizontal line if the connecting line is coming from above the line being connected to. It always has to go around and point down. A similar thing happens when trying to connect a horizontal line to a vertical line from left to right or right to left-- it always ends up pointing in the direction the line originates. It would be really nice if you can have the connection point whichever way you want.
