Hello,

I'm working on an organizational chart based on an Excel spreadsheet, and I'd like to add some visual cues. Specifically, I'd love to color-code individuals if they belong to a certain tier within our team. Is it possible to set up a rule that says, 'If this cell in this column contains this specific text, then color the person's box in the org chart this color'?

Thanks

Hi @JoseMoncada

You can create an excel by structuring with a column specifying each

individual's tier or category

User-1|Manager|Tier-1

User-2|Assoicate|Tier-2

Upon the prep, upload the excel into data, org chart. Then map the appropriate columns, such as Name, Role, and Tier

Then, apply conditional formatting by selecting the org chart, clicking Advanced Shape Settings, and navigating to Conditional Formatting. Create new rules based on the Tier column, specifying fill colors for each tier, Tier-1: Blue, Tier 2: Green, Tier 3: Yellow.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards
