Circle map Lucid template: issue deleting tabs

Question

When I create a template for students to complete as an assignment in Canvas (using the ready-made Circle Map template in Lucidchart) I delete all of the tabs (Page 1, Example, Printable) except the Circle Map tab. When I open the template in Canvas as an assignment, those extra tabs that I deleted reappear. How can I prevent this from happening?

Our team was able to create an assignment with the Circle Map template by creating a document with the template, delete the extra tabs then creating the assignment in Canvas using that document. The assignment copy does not have the additional tabs. Would you mind checking the follow up questions belowto help better understand the issue you’re experiencing?Did you create the assignment from the unedited Circle Map template thenmake changes in your preview? If that is the case, it is expected that the changes made in the preview will not carry over to the student’s copy.Did you createan assignment from the unedited template, noticethe additional tabs when your preview copy was created then went back into the document used to create the assignment and deleted the tabs? Did youedit the assignment and updatethe template?If this is not the case, would you mind sharing detailed steps that you took when creating the assignment?
