I have enabled the Google Drive sync for Lucid, and believe that a document created before the integration was turned on will never appear in My Drive / Lucidchart.

Is there a way to force it to appear, or do I need to delete the file and create a new one for it to appear in Drive?

Thanks for the question! If a Lucidchart document was created before Google Drive sync was enabled, it may not automatically appear in My Drive > Lucidchart. Here are a few ways to address this:

  • Check for Unsynced Documents: Visit the Apps & Integrations section in your Lucidchart account settings to see if any diagrams are listed as unsynced and “Sync now” if there are any.

    • Screenshot of the Automatic Synchronization section in the account settings

  • Manual Export Option: If preserving the original formatting is not a concern, manually export the diagram as a PDF, PNG, or JPEG, then upload it to Google Drive.
