despite using only basic forms, I cannot change the shape. I do not get the “change shape form”. What’s my error?

Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community!
It looks like you are looking at your “Shapes In Use” which displays your recently used shapes in Lucidchart. (see screenshot below)
In order to view and use all kinds of shapes in Lucidchart, please go to the Shapes panel on the left of your screen and scroll down until you see “Shapes.”
Please refer to the Gif below demonstrating this.
If you want to view all Shape libraries, you can click “More Shapes” at the bottom left of your Lucidchart document.
