Can I set default line settings?

Is there a way to set up default Line format on the account?

I don’t know if this is unique to my instance of Lucid, but somehow the default line behavior switched on two parameters:

  • From Elbow to direct lines - it creates extra work now where I have to switch the form of the line every time I create one.
  • Dragging motion now starts at the end point - Essentially where I start to drag a line is now considered an end of the line with an arrow pointing towards it. To me this is very counterintuitive  and also creates extra work.

Both may seem small, but every time I’m building complex workflow charts this feels like a “1000 cuts” situation and makes the tool less enjoyable to use.

Hi @TohirT, thank you for posting in the community! Unfortunately there isn’t a way to set default lines for your entire Lucid account. However, as a workaround you could create a custom template with all the settings already selected as default. This way you can create a new document from the template and it will have the default settings already.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
