I am not able to add space in actors name for example if I write Alice simon -> Bob mark this gives me error Also is there a way I can use diamond shaped symbols representing actions

Hi Vaishnavi thanks for posting in the community! You can add spaces to an actors name by putting double quotation marks around alias (eg. "Alice Bob"). For more information on the supported markup please take a look at our UML Sequence Markup article from the Help Center.
Regarding the question about using the diamond shaped symbols unfortunately this is not currently support in Lucidchart. However we're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your idea to ourĀ product feedback space? Ideas discussedĀ this space are passed on to the product development team for their consideration.
