Bring back the formatting bar

Question

Today, the upper formatting bar was replaced with what seems to be contextual floating formatting UI. Which is extremely unproductive, and fails to display formatting options that I need at the moment.

Please stop introducing unnecessary “improvements”. When a user is actually working, they don’t have time nor urge to play with changes to UI.

And BTW, please allow me to post a ticket without the need to select a tag. I don’t know your taxonomy. Please tag tickets by yourself. It’s going to be more accurate.

​@Aleksander KThank you for posting in the Community!We reorganized editing controls so the ones you use most are faster to reach: your most common controls now live in a mini bar right above your selected shape, instead of a fixed toolbar at the top of the screen you'd have to look away from your work to use.Here are a couple quick tips:The mini bar also only shows controls relevant to what you've selected, so you're not scanning past options that don't apply.You can drag that bar anywhere on your canvas.The side panel to the right of your canvas (under the Share button) has those same controls, plus more advanced options, if you need them.If you have any further questions or run into any issues, please let me know and I'd be happy to help!

Please bring back the option to choose between the previous top formatting toolbar and the new right-side panel.

I find the new right-side panel significantly less intuitive and less user-friendly than the previous top toolbar, especially when formatting text and shapes.

Is there currently any way to choose which layout or interface we want to use? If not, it would be great to have the option to switch between both views based on user preference.
