Auto-save issues in Lucid

There have been requests going back at least 7 years to have the functionality to disable auto save, and Lucid you haven’t done anything in all those years to address this. I am having great difficulty using the tool. Every single change I make appears to need an immediate auto save. This has caused me to use double or triple the time I need to create my models. And I cannot easily share when sharing on Teams. Something has to get done about this. I was just on a call and there were 30+ people on the Teams Call and the speaker’s Lucid Chart was so difficult to use that they gave up.

Do something and fix it - please.

Thanks for posting in the Lucid Community, sorry that you are having trouble here but I am happy to help.

 

To clarify are you having trouble saving your documents? Are you having trouble sharing your Lucid documents via Microsoft Team messages? 

 

Our Microsoft Teams integration requires that the ability to create share links be enabled for your Lucid account. If you receive an error message regarding share links being disabled please reach out to your Lucid admin or internal IT team to see if they'd be willing to enable them.

 

If the issue persists, please send the following information:

  • A screenshot of the issue, including any error messages or pop ups that appear.
  • The version of Microsoft Teams you are using (desktop vs online).
  • Can you confirm whether the issue still occurs in the other version?
  • If the issue occurs in the online version, please send a screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output. You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + J (if your computer is a Windows / Linux) OR Cmd + Opt + J (if your computer is a Mac).
