Arrows in Lucid template Service Blueprint with Swimlanes disappear

I’m trying to drag arrows between shapes in my Lucid Board and they are not “sticking”. I will drag it from one box to another, and it will show, but once I click off of it, the arrow disappears. Does anyone know how to resolve this? None of my other Lucid Boards have run into this issue.

For some reason all arrows were marked as transparent *FACE PALM*

Thank you for your help -- I resolved the issue! It’s odd that the default “color” for the arrows was transparent, but I haven’t noticed the issue since on other boards. Must be a me issue lol

Is this happening on all documents? I’m not able to reproduce this same behavior, however I do want to assist you to get this resolved. Can you tell me if you have tried clearing cache/cookies on your browser, and if the behavior persists? You could also open the document in an incognito window to test if clearing the cache and cookies would work. If it does not persist in an incognito browser then that would indicate that you need to clear cache and cookies on your browser. If that doesn’t work then we can continue to troubleshoot what is happening here.

How odd! I am not sure I would have thought of that as the culprit, but I am glad you figured it out!

@Shantel Gillette I have ran into this with one of the templates. It is really difficult to get the arrows to work correctly. It is a great swimlane template expect for the arrows! I don’t know how to tell you which template it is or how to fix it. I have been able to get the arrows for the most part, but it took forever.

Hi ​@WoodworK, thank you for continuing this post and sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues with lines in your template. To confirm, are you also experiencing the same thing where the arrows were set to transparent? If not, would you mind sharing a brief description of what issue you experienced with the lines?


Did you create the document from a template? If you remember which one you used for your document, would you mind sharing a screenshot of it from the template picker?

@Leianne C Yes, I created it from the template. “Service Blueprint with Swimlanes”. I just tried it again and it does have the arrows set to transparent. Although there are some sample arrows that are black so it is a bit difficult to notice.
