Not sure if this is just me, but I've been playing around with a few Android automation tools lately to save some time on repetitive tasks. Most of the time they work fine, but every now and then things start acting weird.
Sometimes a button gets skipped, a step doesn't trigger, or the automation suddenly stops working after an app update. What's frustrating is that the exact same setup might work perfectly one day and then become unreliable the next.
I'm not really looking for support with any specific tool. I'm more curious whether others have run into the same thing and what the cause usually is.
Do Android updates tend to break automations? Is it because apps change their layouts frequently? Or is mobile automation just naturally less reliable than desktop automation?
I'd love to hear some real experiences from people who use automation regularly. Have you found any tricks that make workflows more stable, or is occasional troubleshooting just part of the process?
