Collaboration is critical in any organization, and everyone knows that their collaboration can be improved. But how do you know where to start?

That’s where Lucid’s here to help. Our team has developed a collaboration evaluation that you can use to identify exactly where you excel and where you need to focus on improvement. We’ve established five key areas that you should be secure in for successful collaboration, which form what you can consider as your collaboration North Star. These key areas are:

  • Clarity
  • Impact
  • Environment
  • Conflict
  • Autonomy

Check out our collaboration assessment template, which will walk you through the five areas and lead you in your evaluation of your collaboration strengths and weaknesses. Use the template with your team and dig into the automatically aggregated results!

The great thing about Lucid’s collaboration assessment tool is that it provides a way for you to identify exactly what needs to be changed on your journey to improve collaboration. Keep in mind that each of the five areas is equally important for collaboration and should work together to foster psychological safety on your team. Learn more and get deeper insights into how to do a collaboration assessment in this blog post.

Which key areas are you most strong in? Let us know in the comments below, and reach out to our team if you have any questions!

This is so helpful, @josephwhiting! My team spans several time zones, and as a manager this has really been on my mind lately. Of course, we all know that collaboration is fundamental and generally want to prioritize it, but the specificity in this template is so useful. The Environment section in this template really stood out to me for that reason.

These elements, especially communication tools and cultural norms, are such practical things where I feel like I could really make a difference with my team if we were falling short in these areas.
