Hey community đź‘‹
Put a finger down if you’ve ever…
- Had to chase a coworker because a roadmap item was missing its “Risk score” value.
- Spent hours manually recreating a Jira dependency.
- Announced a release date in a board meeting, only to realize your roadmap milestone hadn't been updated in weeks.
Fragmented data and invisible blockers don't just slow you down, they actively undermine your strategy.
That’s why we’ve been heads-down building a set of capabilities specifically for product teams operating in large-scale orgs.
Â
Introducing…
→ Required fields: When a field is marked as required, users have to fill it in before creating an item, and it can't be cleared once it's set. It's a small change with a big impact on data quality. Your roadmap is always "boardroom ready" without the need for constant manual cleanup.
→ Revamped Milestones: We’ve turned Milestones into a proper field type you can link work to, customize with dates and colors, and roll up across workspaces. They also sync bidirectionally with Jira Fix Versions, so your high-level plan and your delivery system always stay in sync.
→ Two-way dependency mapping with Jira: You can now map link types (like "blocks" or "relates to") between Jira and airfocus so blockers are visible in both places without anyone having to manually recreate them.
→ Custom dependency types (coming soon): Because "blocks" doesn’t cover every relationship your org needs to track.
Â
The common thread? Less manual overhead, more confidence in the data your decisions are built on.
