Greetings from the airfocus product team! 🛠

Hey all! I’m Spencer, one of the product managers at airfocus.

Now that airfocus and Lucid have joined forces, I’m excited to start digging into how we can help teams utilize powerful collaboration and planning aspects of Lucid alongside the robust feedback and product management tools in airfocus. Since I've started using both platforms together, it has transformed the way I do product management!

We want to help you do the same! Our product team is excited to connect with you here in the Community to highlight product updates, get your feedback, and surface helpful tips.

Quick question: How are you currently visualizing your product roadmaps? Let me know what you like/dislike about your process in the comments.

As a Lucid employee, I am definitely a bit biased, but from my perspective it has been a game changer to be able to visualize roadmaps using Lucid to brainstorm and collaborate on initial drafts, then move into airfocus for execution and reporting. The integration makes the whole process so easy! I can’t wait to see how this software dynamic duo continues to improve in the future 👏

I got a demo from Airfocus team and it looks impressive. Is there any thought of giving Airfocus to lucid legends to explore?

I visualise product and initiative roadmaps using a layered, process-driven approach starting with a high-level strategic roadmap aligned to operational priorities, then linking each initiative to underlying process maps and execution plans.

Using Lucidchart provides visual clarity, improves alignment, and supports effective engagement across leadership and operational teams. The main challenges lie in manually translating brainstormed ideas into structured, decision-ready roadmaps, managing prioritisation without a consistent scoring framework, and clearly showing change and execution impacts.

Overall, roadmapping is most effective when it is grounded in process, risk, and governance, rather than treated as a standalone planning exercise.

@SharmilShah, thanks for letting us know this would be valuable for you in the Lucid Legends! I’ll bring this back to my team and will follow up with you regarding airfocus for the legends. I hope to have an update for you shortly!

@Ria S Thank you for sharing that insight into how your team is doing roadmapping today. In regards to your comment about “manually translating brainstormed ideas into structured, decision-ready roadmap”, I’ve experienced the same problem! This is one of the reasons I love our Lucid cards for airfocus integration. My team and I can brainstorm ideas or initiatives on Lucid’s canvas and then convert those into more structured airfocus items for our roadmap when we are ready.

The other area where I’ve found value is in the feedback management and insights capabilities with airfocus. We often get feedback from customers that we want to record, but we aren’t ready to commit to on the roadmap. airfocus can serve as a source of truth for this unstructured feedback and then we can tie it to roadmap items when we are ready.

Hi @Spencer Cowley

Thanks for sharing this overview! I really like the focus on connecting unstructured ideation in Lucid with structured product work in airfocus, it matches exactly where many teams struggle today.
