How do you stay productive while learning new tech?

I usually take on a project where I already have enough skills to manage it. Then I start getting involved on the developer side as well, which gives me a chance to learn and explore while still delivering.

I learn faster when I can see how others are using the technology—templates, case examples, and walkthroughs help translate concepts into action quickly.
