Color is a powerful, often subconscious tool that significantly improves comprehension (up to 73%!).

Think about your most recent Lucid document you created; you likely used color without even realizing it. From sticky notes to frames to shapes, color is all around. 

To help you effectively leverage color,  here are some quick tips for how to use color in your Lucid boards. 

Red: Highlight priorities

Orange: Use in icebreakers and brainstorms

Yellow: Draw attention to items that need more input

Green: Show progress updates and highlight project status

Blue: Gain consensus, give feedback

Purple: Inspire  imaginative thinking

Black: Signal completion
