For me, summertime has always been about adventure, playing outside, and simply enjoying life. 🍉🌵

But even while working, there are still some fun and festive ways to capture the spirit of summer with your team!

In fact, I recently compiled a list of nine activity ideas for team building that I wanted to share with you!

Here are a few of my personal favorites:

  1. Favorite things party: Share your all-time favorite items with your team.

How it works: Assign everyone a team member to mail a few small items to. Think about your summer favorites: like sunscreens, hats, sunglasses, and anything else you use and love.

  1. Get crafty: Whether in-person or virtual, there are so many fun crafts you can do with your team. For example, my team has done:
  1. Summer book club: For the bookworms, pick a fun book to read with your team this summer. Bonus points if it takes place in a sunny location!

Be sure to check out all the activities that you can do with your team this summer season, and let me know which activity you’re most excited to try!

Yum  - the Chocolate making is my favourite :)

I did it with my team and it was delicious!

@Ria S and @Olivia Q Love these ideas, chocolate making sounds so fun!

Our team recently did a virtual chocolate tasting activity where @Abby S shared her knowledge on the chocolate-making process. Everyone on our team had the same 5 chocolate bars, each bar from a different region. We each got the chance to try the bars with each other in breakout rooms and rate them in terms of their look, smell, sound (looking for a quality snap), and flavor.

It was such a fun opportunity for our department to learn about each other and connect!

that sounds delicious @Ambar D . Which bar was the winner?

@Ria S I believe the top bar for most was a sourdough & sea salt flavored dark chocolate bar from Ecuador. 🍫 I was skeptical at first but it turned out to be my favorite too!

Sourdough in chocolate? I don’t know about that one 😯. I’d love to try that Dubai chocolate with the Katafi though. Yum

The sourdough sounds odd but weirdly works together very well!

I agree though @Ria S, I’ve seen videos of those chocolate bars all over my social media recently and the pistachio and kataifi filling looks delish. 😍
